The Federated Drivers listed below link their respective APIs into your AppSynergy federated database. This allows you to work with the respective API data using simple SQL commands like Select, Insert, Update and Delete – even if the underlying API has zero knowledge of SQL (e.g. most RESTful APIs). All AppSynergy UI widgets, stored procedures, etc. work the same regardless of whether or not the table is federated or not.
If no pre-built federated driver is available for a particular API you can quickly create a custom driver by configuring (not coding) our universal JSON/XML driver; this opens the door to integrating virtually any API on the planet. Learn more about AppSynergy's Federated Data Integration.
An additional 120+ federated drivers – in addition to those listed above – will be announced shortly!
If you need to use an API not yet covered by one of our 150+ pre-built federated drivers, you can do so by configuring one of our universal JSON/XML federated drivers to that particular API – opening the door to virtually every API on the planet.
Simply point the appropriate universal federated driver to a RESTful API end point and it will auto-discover the structure of the API. All popular authentication methods are supported including OAuth. You can edit the generated configuration files to customize datatypes, column names, query parameters and much more.
